Shona Street
Chief Officer
After visiting the Highlands for many years (from childhood) I finally realised my dream of moving here in 2018, moving to Dingwall to join RVA, now CSI, Ross-Shire. Joining the Team has been one of my life’s highlights and we have gone from strength to strength. I love how the organisation has been a part of the community for many years.
Originally from Edinburgh, I moved to Fife, qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1980 and working in Hospitals in Edinburgh, London and Oxford before returning to Scotland to continue working in the field of Addictions in the Third Sector rather than NHS, finally working in this field within the Scottish Prison Service until 2009. In 2009 I returned to academia, studying law at Abertay University, graduating with honours in 2013
I returned to the Third Sector working within the Deaf community ensuring accessibility to services for BSL users. And now I am here!
I love the countryside, walking, cycling, photography, x-stitching and gardening to name a few! (oh and learning new skills – especially those I have learned from doing up Temperance House!)
