Ross-Shire Community Transport

RCT operates as a community transport scheme, supported by volunteer drivers, in the Mid and Easter Ross area. We can assist with journeys for shopping, appointments, social events, leisure activities.
Our journeys are undertaken by volunteer drivers, we ask our drivers if they are able to fulfil the requested journey and they let us know. To enable this procedure we ask for as much notice as possible, we can also never guarentee that a journey will be fulfilled, however we do have wonderful volunteers who enable us to fulfill most journeys requested. There is a charge, minimum £3.50 for a one way journey and minimum £7.00 for a return journey, the maximum is £7.50 for a single journey and £15 for a return journey. We calculate mileage at 0.45p per mile up to the maximum amount. Unfortunately, due to our funding we CANNOT accept journey bookings to Raigmore Hospital.
