We are working toward opening the cafe soon, there are a few things we need to do before we open to ensure all is safe, warm and inviting to welcome you all in.
Our cafe will open initially from 10am until 2pm every week day (Mon - Fri) with the potential to increase hours and days if needed. We do not intend to be in competition with any other establishment, we will have a very basic menu of hot nutritious food, the emphasis will be affordability and a good atmosphere to encourage people to come in, meet up with friends and make new friends.
On Friday evenings we will be opening up for young people to have a safe space to meet their friends, we will have a digital cafe running alongside so young people outwith Dingwall can join in via Zoom or Teams (we have yet to decide the best provider)
As mentioned before the cafe is named after our good friend, Sheila Fletcher, who was our Chair person for many years, who we miss very much and was an inspiration to us and many people in the area. We believe she would have been very supportive of the venture and it our honour to name the cafe after Sheila.
